A Secret Love That Cuts to the Bone

Twenty-three years after being switched at birth, Lin Yuezhao was finally brought home by her biological mother, to the family her mother had remarried into. On the day she entered the Huo household, she was told two things: Don’t tell anyone about being locked up in a psychiatric hospital. Stay away from the eldest son of the Huo family. He is aloof and cold, and dislikes people who don’t respect boundaries. Later, Lin Yuezhao added two more rules for herself: Don’t fall for Huo Jinye. Don’t let anyone find out that you like Huo Jinye. Huo Jinye first saw Lin Yuezhao on a stormy night. She had sleepwalked into his room and was crouched in a corner. Jet-black hair, a pale face, vacant eyes: she looked like a lily swaying in the storm outside the window. At the time, he looked down at her coldly, an indifferent observer. But when she woke, she was quiet and well-behaved, politely calling him “Big Brother.” Only her eyes betrayed a distant indifference. She had completely forgotten how she’d clung to his clothes the night before and refused to let go. After that, he waited for her in his room whenever it rained at night. Waiting for her to come closer of her own accord. Waiting for the day she would tell him her secret.
