Have You Even Trained in Martial Arts? And You Want to Be an Action Star?

“Have you ever trained in martial arts? You just assume you can be an action star.”

Looking at the entertainment reporter before him, Lu Chen smiled faintly. He no longer concealed the aura of a martial arts grandmaster, and with a single grab, he refined his own hater on the spot.

“Of course I’ve trained in martial arts. I practice through the hottest days of summer and the coldest days of winter. Becoming the Kung Fu Emperor took years of hard work and sweat!”

“Then, Mr. Lu Chen, because of your performances on screen, many people want to know: does martial arts really exist in this world?”

Back in 2005, Lu Chen became a martial arts performer in the Cheng family stunt team. Jackie Chan was his master, Sammo Hung his senior uncle, and every action star revered him as a grandmaster of his generation!

From a humble martial arts performer to the king of action movies, Hollywood action films took pride in him. He was the greatest action star of the 21st century, an Eastern dragon who surpassed Bruce Lee, Jackie Chan, and Jet Li.

It was all thanks to his Action Superstar panel. Any character he imagined, he could play as himself, without a trace of acting!

What’s more, he could acquire all kinds of abilities from those characters: the Eight Steps to Catch a Cicada, Mountain-Splitting Palm, and Crossing the River on a Reed!

In a torrential downpour on a deserted street at midnight, I am Feng Yuxiu, fighting to decide both victory and death.

On the night of the full moon, atop the Forbidden City, I am Ye Gucheng, unleashing the Flying Immortal Beyond the Heavens as if descended from the heavens with a sword in hand.

Atop Mount Hua, the Eighteen Dragon-Subduing Palms reign supreme through the ages. I am the greatest of the Five Masters, and the king of tokusatsu as well. Lu Chen picked up the transformation device in his hand, and streaks of light immediately shimmered around him.

“Martial arts? There’s no such thing in this world!” Lu Chen said to the reporter, then flew away with a display of light-footed skill.
