Honghuang: I, Huanglong, Become Tongtian's Disciple, Leaving Yuanshi in a Bind

His soul travels into the Primordial World, where he becomes Huang Long, the son of the Ancestral Dragon and one of the future Twelve Golden Immortals of Jade Void Palace.

Knowing that his karmic burden and status as a dragon will earn him Yuanshi's hatred, first reducing him to an “ornamental fish” in Jade Void Palace before making him a laughingstock during the Investiture of the Gods tribulation, Huang Long wastes no time. He turns to Tongtian and becomes the fifth personal disciple under his tutelage.

Yuanshi: “Huang Long is a creature born of wetness and eggs, burdened by karma and incapable of achieving anything great.”

Who could have guessed that Huang Long would cleanse his karma, guide Nuwa to sainthood, become the teacher of the Three Sovereigns and Five Emperors, and gain immeasurable merit?

Before the Great Tribulation of the Investiture of the Gods, he takes control of the Heavenly Court ahead of time, bringing the Dragon Clan into its ranks and reducing Haotian to a figurehead.

Years later, when Yuanshi sees Huang Long attain the Dao Fruit of the Primordial Great Unity, he is left utterly dumbfounded.

Tongtian: “Elder brother, what do you think of Huang Long's accomplishments?”
