Is the Villainess Too Evil? The Miaojiang Master Begs Me to Bear His Child

Just as the vicious supporting female character Shen Lingshu is about to be written out, she accidentally sleeps with the original story’s biggest villain. The damn System throws up its hands. “Goodbye! You slept with him, so you’re responsible!” To keep the story’s world from falling apart, Shen Lingshu sets out to win over its greatest villain, Chi Ming, the young master of the Wu Clan. “Chi Ming, I’m carrying your child. You have to take responsibility for me.” “Chi Ming, everyone else approaches you with an ulterior motive, but I’m different. My love for you is real.” Shen Lingshu isn’t sure whether she’s fooled Chi Ming, but in any case, she manages to stay with the Wu Clan. To save up enough money to run away, Shen Lingshu starts modernizing the Wu Clan. She sends out all their poisonous creatures, like giant venomous snakes, little spiders, and huge centipedes, to be used as medicinal ingredients. Rather than using their puppets to kill people, they can put them to work and make money. Before long, the Wu Clan transforms from a cultish, heretical group in the eyes of outsiders into a major sect devoted to making money and harming no one. At last, Shen Lingshu saves up enough to flee, but Chi Ming corners her against a wall, his voice low and seductive. “Didn’t you say you were carrying my child? The time has come. Where is the baby?” Shen Lingshu thinks she’s probably taken things too far. Years later, the System comes to visit her, only to find Shen Lingshu sitting on a throne with a pregnant belly, crunching on an apple. The System is shocked. “What did you do to Chi Ming?” “Nothing,” Shen Lingshu says, chewing. “He’s right over there looking after the kids!” The System turns to see Chi Ming with one child on his head and another in his arms, run ragged.
