The Road to Fame in Journey to the West: Look at What You’ve Planned!

In the world of the 1986 Journey to the West, a colossal screen of light suddenly appeared across the sky, stretching from horizon to horizon. Its radiance enveloped the four great continents: Dongsheng Shenzhou, Xiniu Hezhou, Nanshan Buzhou, and Beiju Luzhou. Gods, Buddhas, demons, and monsters all stopped and looked up, filled with astonishment and suspicion.

The screen slowly lit up, revealing one wildly different pilgrimage story after another, shattering everyone’s belief that the fate of the journey west had long since been written in stone.

[Back in the day, I wielded two watermelons and fought for three days and nights. The dead were strewn across the land, and rivers of blood flowed! I didn’t even blink!]

[There was once a sincere love right in front of me, but I didn’t cherish it. By the time I lost it, regret was too late!]

[Your senior disciple died a long time ago!]

Countless branches of Journey to the West appeared. The first figure to emerge on the screen was Sun Wukong from Journey to the West: Conquering the Demons!

When they saw what Sun Wukong looked like in Journey to the West: Conquering the Demons, the gods in the Hall of Miraculous Mist struggled to hold back their laughter until they were trembling. The entire Celestial Court burst into laughter!

Who knew the monkey could look like that!

Beneath the same faces of the master and disciples on their pilgrimage lay several completely different lives. Different versions of Wukong, Bajie, and Tang Sanzang appeared one after another: some were rebellious and savage, some honest and guileless, and some worldly-wise.

The predetermined eighty-one trials had countless variations, and the journey west branched into countless possible paths.
