Mecha: Dawn's Iron Cavalry

“When civilization teeters on the brink of collapse, humanity’s last hope is to pilot a steel body and charge into the darkness.” Worldbuilding: By the year 2187 of the New Era, Earth no longer belonged to a single human civilization. After the “Stargate Incident,” humanity mastered spatial-jump technology, colonized hundreds of star systems, and founded the “Terran Federation.” But the alien civilization known as the “Wraiths” suddenly invaded, feeding on the ecosystems of planets and leaving nothing alive in their wake. Humanity was driven back at every turn, until it developed its ultimate weapon: the “Dawn Series” mechs. But the Dawn mechs were no ordinary weapons. They could only be activated by a “Chosen Pilot” with a neural synchronization rate above 90%, and there was only one person in the entire world who had ever successfully piloted one... and that person eventually vanished. Now the Wraiths have returned, and a forgotten boy has picked up a wrecked cockpit from the wasteland and reawakened the dormant “Dawn Iron Cavalry.”
