Saw a certain writing habit of the author
I just like to put multiple phrases into one sentence, separated by commas. For example, the description of the actions of the man driving the tractor at the beginning, as well as the description of the protagonist recalling his acquaintance with Han Zhi, and the description of the scene of cooperating with Han Zhi's autopsy. Honestly speaking, it feels unsmooth and incoherent. In the former example above, the series of action descriptions are too brief, and there are no other words to connect them. It doesn't look like telling a story, like the kind of operation manual with pictures and text descriptions. The latter of the above examples is obviously intended to describe the current scene and highlight the difficulty and physical torture of working in a narrow environment despite the stench, but there is still the same problem. It is short, has no connecting words, and looks incoherent. It is like a child playing a word game and reporting vocabulary that fits the current scene for a selected topic. This series of vocabulary is reported, but it is just a string of vocabulary without suitable words to connect it.
