Anchor of Water Bear River

There is a concept in psychology called "memory anchor point". The general idea is that when a key item or key time is triggered, the past memory will come up, just like an anchor point was planted at that time, and it is ruminated until now. There is a legend in Shuixiong River that a sailor once threw an anchor into the middle of the river in order to pursue the girl he loved, and then told the girl that if the anchor could be picked up, they would be together. The girl agreed, but the sailor never came up again. From then on, there was a girl beside Shui Xiong River who was always looking at the river, quietly and never speaking. Later, the girl turned into an old man. On the second day after the old man died, the river suddenly dried up and a huge anchor was revealed in the middle of the river bed. After decades, it actually shone brightly. The people of Shuixiong River were grateful for this story and buried the old man next to the anchor. The river bed that dried up overnight was filled with river water again. There are always new stories beside the Water Bear River.
