Wine Stains on Zen Clothes

The incense of Lingyin Temple cannot avoid a strange person - monk Jiuchen. His Zen robes were always stained with wine, his broken cattail leaf fan could not be shaken, and he smelled of alcohol. Even when he chanted sutras, he was drunk, and he was jokingly called a "drunken monk" by pilgrims. But it was this "drunk monk" who could hear the grievances of the people in the wine shop, use the remaining wine in the gourd to resolve disputes between neighbors, and wake up the lost people in their drunken eyes. His Buddha is not on the incense table, but in the folds of his Zen clothes stained by wine, in the soles of rotten grass shoes that he walked through the streets, and in the dust that is quietly brushed away from the world after every time "wine and meat pass through his intestines." This wine stain on his body turned out to be the mark of his passing through the world; that old Zen clothes hid the most vivid compassion.
