Cat's Contract: City of Nine Lives

The city divides life into nine opportunities, called "smooth retirement." Lin Ci, a night school student, encounters a black cat carrying a "photo album" during the night shift in the emergency department, and discovers that his roommate's life is down to the last frame. In order to save people, she signed a contract: she could lend her fate once, but she had to return a deleted piece of truth. The loan again and again brought her into contact with the disappearing list, the "Tenth District" that only appeared at 3:33, and the logic of destiny like a city budget. When the "tenth life" surfaces, she must choose: sacrifice herself or let her loved one disappear.
