Martial Age

Li Jingyuan, the son of a martial arts family in Cangzhou, Hebei Province, was born in the troubled times of the Republic of China. Although he was frail since childhood, he inherited the family's Cha Quan and Pi Gua Quan. In line with his grandfather's motto that "Chinese martial arts are not routines, but real Kung Fu to protect one's life", he laid foundations in the snow in Hanyuan and started the road to martial arts practice.​ When he was young, he experienced the provocations of the Hong Boxing Gang and the humiliation of foreign boxers. He used Chinese martial arts to improve the fighting methods of soldiers.​ As the anti-Japanese war raged across the country, he formed the "National Martial Arts Anti-Japanese Team". During the fall of the city and the enemy's raids, he severely damaged the Japanese army with his powerful skills. In the climax of the showdown, he suddenly realized the state of spiritual power and relied on the power of "human fists to unite" to protect the people and fight against foreign enemies.​ From the stakes in the small courtyard in Cangzhou to the swordsmanship on the anti-Japanese battlefield, Li Jingyuan practiced the belief of "protecting the family and the country with force" throughout his life, and wrote the iron-blooded inheritance of Chinese traditional martial arts and the clannish character of warriors in the torrent of the times.
