Scarlet and Black Entwined with Cherry Blossoms

The night I first arrived in Tokyo, I was kidnapped.

Blindfolded, gagged, and dumped on a tatami mat, I heard one of the men respectfully call someone “young boss.”

The 23-year-old young godfather raised his folding fan and tipped up my chin. “From today on, you belong to me.”

They called me a “bird in a cage,” never knowing I was secretly collecting evidence of his crimes.

Until the night I pointed a knife at his heart. He gently kissed the beauty mark beneath my eye and said:

“Want me to teach you how to kill me?”
