Summer in the Chirping of Cicadas

She picked up her textbooks, faced up to her shortcomings, and worked hard day after day. Not only did she achieve a significant improvement in her mock test scores, but she also scored an impressive 650 points in the college entrance examination and was successfully admitted to her favorite Chinese department. The story outlines the struggle and growth of senior high school students in a delicate way, conveying the belief that "hard work will eventually pay off, and love can withstand the passage of time."
