A Hundred Worlds of Destiny: the Story of Ananda and Madanga

At the Surangama Dharma Assembly, Ananda fell into a lustful confusion due to the entanglement of Madanga's mantra. The Buddha penetrated time and space with his wisdom eyes and saw the two people's karma of reincarnation in hundreds of lives that began 2,500 years ago. From the priests and leaders of ancient tribes, to the musicians and witches of slave city-states, to the craftsmen and princesses of medieval vassal states, and the painters and embroiderers of modern dynasties, they have different identities in each life. They may accompany each other in life and death in tribal sacrifices, or fall in love and kill each other in city-state wars, or they may be close to each other in the change of dynasties. Their memories disappear and appear, and only fate and karma tightly bind each other. The Buddha dismantled their obsessions of love and hate, life after life, and revealed the truth about the cycle of cause and effect. In the end, the two of them put aside their earthly ties and attained the holy fruit. However, in order to save the modern obsessed men and resentful women, they became mortals together and solved the same emotional dilemmas as their previous lives in the neon lights of the city, continuing to write the "Chapter of Savioring".
