From fighting against the power grab and dumping by foreign merchants, to resolving intergenerational conflicts in skill inheritance and breaking through barriers to cultural export, Shen Qingyan took "keeping integrity and innovation" as the guideline: not only retaining intangible cultural heritage skills such as "double-sided heterochromatic embroidery" and "palace embroidery", but also promoting the integration of Su embroidery with modern design and digital technology; not only relying on Yunjin Pavilion to protect embroiderers and funding the revolution, but also adhering to the bottom line of national industry and commerce in turbulent times. The work uses Su embroidery skills as a thread to connect family grudges, revolutionary struggles and women's awakening. In Shen Qingyan's reconciliation with her father, hand in hand with her sister, and side by side with her lover Gu Yanze, it shows the century-old legend of a generation of women who, in the tide of the times, defended their culture with ingenuity and shouldered their mission with character.
