The Immortal of Ten Thousand Beginnings: The Beginning of Chaos, the Dao Begins the Great Desolation
The "Immortal of Ten Thousand Beginnings" is the supreme being spread in the creation legend of Hongmeng. He is known as the first generation of immortals who created the world and is the original creator of order and vitality. In the chaotic era when heaven and earth were not separated and all things were silent, he woke up in the endless nothingness and split the eternal silence with a will far beyond ordinary imagination.
His existence is the ultimate interpretation of "creating something from nothing". Facing the unified chaos, the Immortal of Wanshi condensed his original divine power and turned it into a giant axe. With a slash that created the world, it shattered the nothingness. The pure and turbid air separated accordingly - the pure air rose to become the sky, and the turbid air sank to become the earth. From then on, the prototype of heaven and earth appeared. But the newly formed heaven and earth were crumbling, and there was a danger of returning to chaos, so he used himself as a pillar and stood between the cracks in the heaven and earth. As time went by, his body turned into the backbone of mountains and rivers, and his sweat dripped into rivers and lakes. He sacrificed himself in exchange for the stability of heaven and earth.
After laying the foundation of heaven and earth, the immortals of Wanshi did not stop. He used his divine power to shape the sun, moon, and stars to disperse the eternal night; he created vegetation, birds, and beasts to give life to the earth; he also integrated fragments of his soul into the texture of the heaven and earth, formulating the fundamental laws of reincarnation of the four seasons, the alternation of day and night, and the reproduction of all things, so that the new world could operate in an orderly manner. This "creation" is not an arbitrary control, but a gift of order - he never left behind the supreme authority, but instead turned the remaining divine power into spots of light all over the sky, either into the first generation of immortals who inherited the will, or into innate treasures that nurtured opportunities, allowing subsequent creatures to follow his traces and pursue the road.
According to legend, he finally disappeared between heaven and earth, and his body turned into mountains, rivers and vegetation.
