"No One Knows Lychee Comes" is set during the Tianbao period of the Tang Dynasty and tells the story of a power struggle and technological exploration surrounding the tribute of litchi. Lingnan lychees were no longer offered as tribute, but instead were presented from Fuling, Bashu. A sudden order focused the attention of all parties on the small lychees.
