Serve as a Soldier

I was once a soldier, an ordinary soldier, the most ordinary one among millions of soldiers in China in peacetime. My military career was unremarkable, with no smoke or flames of war. I used the perspective of an ordinary soldier to explore what I saw and heard during my two-year military service as a conscript. The story has no exaggerated plot, no ups and downs, no king of soldiers, and no special forces. I will use the most simple and plain narrative to tell my past. These words are the footprints left on the road I walked when I came here.
