A strange purple haze in the mountains of western Texas puts an American high school boy and a young police officer in a desperate situation due to an unexpected encounter. Shrouded in fog, an unnamed town exudes unspeakable weirdness, deep caves echo with ominous whispers, seemingly peaceful farms hide hostility, and the abandoned oil fields in the distance exude a rotten atmosphere originating from the ground. Two strangers form an alliance with a Californian brother and sister who are also lost here, and are forced to explore this cursed land for survival. They followed the clues, deepened step by step, and gradually came across a chilling truth: at the core of this wilderness, lurked a nest of terror from the ancient abyss. This is a battle between sanity and madness. Every secret they reveal is accompanied by a tremor in their souls.
