Echoes in Old Photos: the Fate of Journalists in the Republic of China

"Echoes in Old Photos: The Fate of Journalists in the Republic of China" tells the story of modern history reporter Lin Mo. While sorting through a batch of dusty archives from the Republic of China, she accidentally discovered a yellowed photo in which a female reporter wearing a cheongsam had exactly the same face as herself. The reporter named Su Yun from the Republic of China mysteriously disappeared while investigating a major corruption case involving bureaucrats. As Lin Mo investigates in depth, she not only discovers that the encrypted notes left by Su Yun are surprisingly consistent with her childhood nightmares, but also reveals a secret guarded by three generations of the family - it turns out that her grandmother was Su Yun's informant back then.
