Whispers in the Rain

One is a renowned businesswoman, cool-headed and decisive on the outside, but hiding a painful past she cannot bring herself to talk about.

The other is a young man who is mature beyond his years. He seems gentle and harmless, yet on a rainy night, he knocks on the door to the world she has kept lonely for so long.

A torrential downpour brings them together again by chance.

A love that defies age and reason slowly grows amid testing and restraint.

She says, “Love made me weak, so I stopped believing in it.”

He says, “It’s not that you don’t believe in love. You’re afraid of getting hurt again.”

With his sincerity, he gradually pries open her hardened shell.

Yet she cannot believe that a boy so young could shoulder the complexities of her life.

Is this salvation, or a love gone wrong?

Is fate being remade, or is this an obsession doomed to bear no fruit?

In this city where desire and loneliness intertwine, can they find the answers they seek?
