The 365 Kinds of Tenderness That the Wind Kissed on the Letterhead

We live in an era of information explosion and fast pace. Emotions seem to have become fast food, coming and going quickly. The word "love" is easily spoken and easily forgotten after the next hot news. We are used to replacing hugs with emoticons, replacing long conversations throughout the night with short voices, and replacing a solemn farewell with silence that cannot be read back. However, deep down, do we still yearn for a deeper, more lasting, and more ritualistic emotional connection? Do you still miss the "slow times before", when cars, horses, and mails were all slow, and you could only love one person in your life? This book stems from my obsession with this kind of "slowness" and the cherishment of those delicate emotions that are ignored by the fast pace of life. It is a refuge that I try to build with words to place those thoughts that have no place to express and capture those fleeting tenderness. Here, poetry is the concentration of emotions, prose is the flow of thoughts, and essays are slices of life. In seemingly ordinary daily life, discover and treasure those tender moments that are enough to withstand the passage of time. This book is like a conversation across time and space. I lay out my story, my insights, my confusions and struggles candidly on paper, hoping that your eyes will pass by and you will find yourself in a certain sentence or word that seems familiar to you.
