Lü Bu of the Three Kingdoms: Starting with the Seizure of Xu Province

Overnight, he finds himself at the end of the Han dynasty, reborn as Marquis Wen, Lu Bu, just after Cao Cao routed him in Yan Province. Seeing Cao Cao marching against him once again, Lu Bu knows he is in trouble. He does not want to live under someone else’s roof and seek refuge with Liu Bei, nor does he want to keep wandering from place to place. And with so many powerful warlords around, Lu Bu decides to take an unconventional path. First, he will seize Xu Province. Then he will use it as a base to bring overseas lands under imperial rule, build up his own strength, and return to challenge the warlords to a decisive battle. Everyone laughs at Lu Bu for sitting idle on his tiny patch of land in Xu Province. But when they learn that Lu Bu has claimed all the lands overseas and made them part of Xu Province, they are stunned. “Has Lu Bu really become this powerful? How did his territory grow so vast?”
