Pokemon: A Trainer Returning from Monster Hunter

Thanks for the invite. I'm in Hoenn, just back from the New World, and currently being kidnapped.

Looking at the shiny Sprigatito in the carriage, Zhe Mu recalled what had happened before he transmigrated

Before long, Sprigatito would fight a Pokemon hunter to the death and fall right in front of him.

He, too, would be taken to a Secret Base, beaten to his knees by Hunter J, then brainwashed and corrupted.

Those memories were too painful to revisit. Having transmigrated back, Zhe Mu planned to solve the problem his own way.

Zhe Mu: ???

“Fine. Sprigatito is a cat too, so I might as well start by mounting it.”

“So you're a Pokemon hunter, huh? Well, I'm a Monster Hunter!”

…

Years later, Zhe Mu, now a master chef, Pokémon Professor, and Pokémon World Championships champion, was interviewed by a reporter.

“Mr. Zhe Mu, your Pokemon are a little... questionable, aren't they?”

“Why? Pokemon carrying Held Items is perfectly legal.”

The reporter and a group of League Champions fell silent as they looked at the Pokemon behind Zhe Mu, armed with dual blades, great hammers, and other weapons.

“Oh, right. Before we battle, hold on a moment. Let my Meowscarada make some cat food first.”

“…”

“The moment Zhe Mu blocked Nidoking's Megahorn with his own body, I knew the times had changed.”
