The Heart's Unspoken Thoughts

Direction, a man born in the 1980s, feels that life is like a boat tossed about in a storm. After growing up in a broken home and leaving school at a young age, he carries the regret of what might have been. He enters the military with a carefully concocted lie, just to prove himself, and emerges with a will as strong as steel. After two glorious years, he chooses to move on and plunge into the currents of society.

One cruel twist of fate follows another. A romance that began online as an illusion drags him into the abyss. The arrival of a child ties him to a woman trapped in a quagmire. When the hammer of the law falls, he is left alone to bear the weight of life: two young children and a shattered trust. The path of a single father is strewn with thorns and judgmental stares. He silently shoulders everything, building high walls around his heart. He has no one to rely on, and dares not trust anyone.

At a turning point in his life, he meets Feng Ning, a woman born in the 1990s who is just as deeply scarred. Betrayal has ruined her marriage, and she has locked the doors to her heart. Direction’s bumpy past and the way he still stands tall in the face of despair shine like a light into her dark world, rekindling her longing for redemption. In each other’s stories, two lonely hearts find understanding, and a tender affection begins to grow.

But the past will not let go so easily. A domineering woman and a complicated entanglement stretching back years stand between Direction and Feng Ning. Torn between the possessive grip of old ties and the warmth of a new chance at redemption, Direction’s heart is wracked with pain. Gentle yet sensitive, Feng Ning chooses to endure and wait in the face of an aggressive advance. This is a test of choice, courage, and what true redemption means.

When Direction finally sees the deepest longing in his heart and resolves to break free of the chains of the past, will he and Feng Ning be able to overcome every obstacle...
