[Snooker prodigy × girl who commentates in pursuit of the light] At fifteen, Ning Chutong met her peer Qi Qianyan at a snooker tournament. To help him achieve his dream, she used her grades as collateral to persuade her father to fund his studies abroad. Eight years later, Qi Qianyan returned to competitive snooker, and Ning Chutong crossed paths with him again as a commentary intern. That very evening, a leak at her home brought her face-to-face with Qi Qianyan, who lived downstairs. Hiding her identity, Ning Chutong got close to him, played pool with him, and helped him adopt a stray dog. As they grew closer, she accidentally learned his secret. To avoid his half-brother on his mother's side, Qi Qianyan was forced to move in with her. During that time, Ning Chutong was injured while protecting him from attacks by anti-fans. Qi Qianyan accidentally found her diary and turned down her confession. When he was framed and banned from competing, faced opposition from his family, and injured in an accident, Ning Chutong was also caught up in someone else's revenge plot. After overcoming countless difficulties and unraveling a mystery from years ago, Qi Qianyan returned to the table, won the Snooker World Championship, and fell in love with Ning Chutong.
