Looking up at the Sky from the Boudoir

Wan Niang's world originally consisted of embroidery sheets, poems and books, and the sky at four corners. She thought her dissatisfaction was only due to the constraints of her boudoir, until that day, the sound of whips and pleas outside the carriage, the laughter and indifference at the banquet, revealed a larger and more cruel world before her eyes.
