I'm Already the Vicious Legitimate Older Sister, So What's Wrong with Stealing the Heroine's Script?

[Updates paused. The entire novel is being revised...]

After Shen Zhiyi has just finished coaxing her unhinged ex, whom she had callously seduced and abandoned, she overhears that she is the vicious elder legitimate daughter in a household-intrigue novel?

She plots against her younger half-sister, dies in childbirth, and her entire family is exiled after her death.

[Host, don’t panic. Someone set up your elder sister’s bookshop, and it’ll be yours soon!]

Sounds nice, but she has no intention of giving it away.

[You can find a thousand-year-old blood ginseng in the outskirts of the capital. Offer it to the Empress Dowager and save your life!]

Thanks. Now she knows where to look.

[Host, run! Your father has been framed for corruption, and the Imperial Guards are here to search your home!]

What! Then she’d better run too... Run to her ex-boyfriend and have a good cry: “Waaah, my father was framed. Please, save him!”

She forgot to mention that her ex is none other than the feared, powerful, and unhinged prince of the capital, a cold beauty with a heart as cruel as a snake’s.

At first, she only wanted to snatch a few opportunities and change her fate. Who could have guessed that:

She’d pick up a blood ginseng and save a wandering martial hero,

Insult a noble young lady and win the Emperor’s favor?

Even saving her father ends up exposing the truth behind a corruption case... Good grief, she really didn’t mean to do any of this. Do you believe her?

Her career is going smoothly, but her love life is in crisis:

Her exes keep showing up one after another, exposing her heartless past.

Her unhinged current lover finally learns the truth too: she’s only with him to suppress the Gu poison in her body.

The handsome, wild man clamps a hand around her chin: “Am I the antidote, or just one of them?”

-

Later, pinned beneath him on the bed, she apologizes again and again: “Waaah, I was wrong. I’ll never do it again.”

The man bites at her neck. “Not enough!”
