High Martial: Starting with Erlang Shen's Fate

Liu Yang was reborn into a world of advanced martial arts, but developed a terrifying mental illness caused by contamination, leaving him no choice but to practice martial arts to survive.

He suffered from “Comprehensive Amnesia,” periodically forgetting all kinds of memories, including muscle memory. In the end, every patient took their own life. It seemed the only path left to him was death.

Fortunately, martial arts was his only way to survive. Only by transforming to a higher level of existence could he hope to be cured.

But the muscles he painstakingly trained, the body he strengthened, and his martial cultivation would all deteriorate at regular intervals.

With astonishing willpower, he persevered through relentless effort and repetition. For now, he overcame “Comprehensive Amnesia,” worked a miracle, and became a normal person.

By chance, he obtained Erlang Shen's divine seal and awakened the “Fate: Patrolling the Mountains and Subduing Demons,” completely defying fate and changing his destiny.

[Erlang Shen: God of Protection of the Nation, True Lord of Pure Origin and Mysterious Dao, one of the three great rebels in the Heavenly Court... Achievements: controlling floods and quelling disasters, shouldering mountains to chase the sun, capturing dragons and slaying flood dragons...]

[Fate: Patrolling the Mountains and Subduing Demons; Traits: patrol the world on Heaven's behalf, explore mountains for treasure, subdue demons and exorcise evil, protect the forests!]

“On this path, with every step forward, all I can see is darkness.”

“To create light from the cold darkness is like creating a world from nothingness.”

“Fate isn't a miracle. Fate chose me, the one who became a miracle.”

So said Liu Yang.

The martial path reborn, visualization arts, the spiritual essence of the Eight Heavenly Gods, illustrated records of the manifestations of gods and Buddhas across the myriad heavens...

From that day on, if you never set foot on the martial path, that's one thing.

But if you do, then look up at Liu Yang.

Like a drop of water seeing the vast ocean,

A leaf seeing the forest,

A mayfly seeing the boundless sky.
