Strange, I Speed-Passed the World of Demons

In the protagonist's world, monsters kill people every week. Five or six people, or more than ten or thirty, will be killed at once in two or three days. Without mountain villages as a food supply, there would be no food grown in the city. How would ordinary people reproduce on a large scale and survive? The most basic logic is ignored in several novels. Ordinary people are like game NPCs, as if they can be refreshed after killing one.
