I'm Just a Sweeper Monk, How Would I Know the Tathagata Palm?

Qin Zhao transmigrates into a fantasy world and, from the start, becomes a newly initiated novice monk at the Tathagata Temple, the greatest temple under Heaven.

Born with eyes that are sensitive to light and unable to practice martial arts, he is assigned menial sweeping duties. By chance, he obtains a five-colored fragment that lets him study the temple's ruins and witness its founders creating their arts.

At the temple's Bell Tower, he watches the Young Patriarch create the Lion's Roar, Golden Bell Shield, and Young Patriarch's Iron Mountain Lean.

In the Sixth Patriarch Hall, he watches the Sixth Patriarch create the Ruyi Force, Freewheeling Sword, and Ruyi Freedom Art.

At the Bodhidharma Hall, he watches Patriarch Bodhidharma create One Reed Crossing the River, Dragon-Seizing Art, and Dragon-Subduing Palm.

In the Mahavira Hall, he watches the World-Honored Tathagata create the Tathagata Divine Palm, Great Sun Art, and Tathagata Force.

Qin Zhao restores one by one the Tathagata Temple's glorious lost arts of old. As the years pass, he becomes the temple's strongest sweeping monk.

Until one day, demons from beyond the mortal realm descend upon the Tathagata Temple, seeking its long-lost secret manual, the Tathagata Divine Palm.

The Demon Venerable encounters Qin Zhao while he is sweeping.

Qin Zhao casually strikes with one palm, as if the World-Honored One himself had returned. With the Tathagata Divine Palm, he single-handedly defeats ten Demon Venerables, astonishing the world.

The Demon Venerable roars furiously: “You stinking bald monk! Don't tell me you're not a successor of the Tathagata!”

Qin Zhao replies: “Amitabha. A misunderstanding, a misunderstanding. I'm just a sweeper. How would I know the Tathagata Divine Palm?”
