After I Tricked the Young Lord into Faking His Death, He Seized Me and Took Me to His Estate

[Rival suitors, a faked death, taking by force, a love con artist who tricks hearts] Qingwu was a maid assigned to attend the heir, Jiang Zhiyan, by the old madam. But Jiang Zhiyan disliked her and never touched her. If they had not ended up in bed after he got drunk, she would have been sent out of the manor. After that, everyone in the Marquis's household thought Qingwu was scheming and had no intention of staying in her place. So the old madam warned her to behave herself, not to seduce the heir, and never to entertain disloyal thoughts. But Qingwu had never wanted the title of the heir's concubine. She had only meant to use him with false affection, never expecting to see love in Jiang Zhiyan's eyes. So she died in the year he loved her most. Qingwu's final gift to Jiang Zhiyan was a lifetime without the one he loved. The noble young master of an illustrious family fell to his knees, his eyes red from crying for her. How ridiculous, and how pitiful. – The following year, at the palace's spring banquet, Jiang Zhiyan encountered a beautiful woman in court dress. She turned her head slightly, revealing a familiar face. She had faked her death and escaped. She had lied through her teeth, and he was the fool who had fallen for it again and again. So he cornered her in a narrow palace corridor. His bloodstained kiss spiraled out of control as he said, “Why should I have to forget you, you liar?” Jiang Zhiyan refused to admit how madly he loved her, for no reason at all, even if she wanted his life.
