Sleepless in the Capital at Night

A flirtatious, sweet cheongsam beauty x a gentleman who’s been plotting this for ages (not really) News that the renowned cheongsam designer Song Zhiyun had married business tycoon Zhou Jinyu spread like wildfire. Their friends in the industry were quick to question whether the report was true. After all, these two had been at odds since childhood. They argued whenever they met, and could flip a table in minutes if they ate together. The internet took the opportunity to ship them! Just as their friends started to think that a marriage with no love and nothing but hate wouldn’t last six months, the media released a high-definition video of the two in an underground parking garage. Song Zhiyun was pinned against the front of a car by Zhou Jinyu. He gently kissed away the tear sliding from the corner of her eye, his gaze brimming with undisguised possessiveness. “Zhaozhao, isn’t it a little late to start acting spoiled with me now?” Then he leaned down and kissed her lips again. Song Zhiyun’s defenses crumbled completely. She rested her head sweetly on his shoulder and instinctively nestled into his arms, her cheek pressed against his neck, her breathing unsteady. The shippers celebrated as one: I could spend my whole life learning to kiss like that! Their industry friends: ...? And you call that having no feelings for each other! At her engagement party, a drunk Song Zhiyun witnessed her boyfriend’s betrayal. Heartbroken, she was accidentally sent to Zhou Jinyu’s room by her assistant. On that rainy, intoxicating night, Zhou Jinyu held Song Zhiyun in his arms and coaxed her softly. “Want to give us a try?” Fueled by alcohol, she gave a quiet yes, only to panic and run away when she sobered up. He pursued her relentlessly, while she denied everything. A month later, Zhou Jinyu showed up at her door with the pregnancy test report she had left behind at the studio. “Song Zhiyun, are you playing me?”
