My Husband's Secretary Accused Me of Faking My Master's Degree

After I mistyped an English word in the group chat, my CEO husband's secretary immediately mocked my master's degree as fake and insinuated that I'd only gotten my job through connections. I was about to explain that my clothes had accidentally pressed the keys in my pocket, but my husband kicked me out of the chat first. My face burned with embarrassment. “Sorry, but I think your manners are worse than my English.”

Then my husband berated me in front of the entire company and told me to apologize to his secretary. The secretary looked on the verge of tears, her face full of innocence, and said, “Sheng Nian, don't be angry. We're a well-known publicly listed company. I'll have HR fire her right away for getting in with a fake degree.”

Unfortunately for her, my degree was genuine, while the CEO she'd set her sights on was a fake.
