After a Patient's Family Reported Me and I Quit, I Started Winning Without Lifting a Finger

The entire family of a patient reported me, all because I discovered the patient had eaten during surgery and urgently stopped the procedure. “What’s wrong with eating a little something? My grandson has never suffered such a grievance. Pah! If you can’t even do this, you don’t deserve to be a doctor!” The patient’s family was aggressive, demanding that I kneel, apologize, and kowtow ten times. They even threatened to make me leave the hospital. My heart was breaking. As a top gastroenterologist, I had poured my heart and soul into my work, always terrified that something might go wrong with a patient. Yet in the end, I was cursed out and berated. My apprentice joined in, fanning the flames, then shoved me into the patient’s room and left me to be beaten. Enraged, I turned around and submitted my resignation. Whoever wants to be the lead surgeon can have the job! A few weeks later, the patient’s family searched for me all over the internet. “Doctor Sun, please come back!”
