Our Roommate Fell Outside Our Dorm Room and Demanded Compensation

My roommate fell outside our dorm and cut her wrist, so I hurried with another classmate to take her to the hospital for bandaging. But when we got back, she sent us a bill in the dorm group chat: “Medical expenses: 600. Emotional distress: 1,000. Nutritional expenses: 2,000. Total: 3,600. Split it among yourselves and pay me.”

I was utterly baffled. “You hurt your wrist. Did you hit your head too?”
