After Marrying the Dragon Prince, My Two Childhood Friends Regretted It

After the merfolk clan was defeated and fell into decline, my father sent me to be raised in the Flood Dragon King's palace. The two Flood Dragon princes grew up with me and fell deeply in love with me. For a hundred years, they swore they would marry me once I came of age. I was showered with affection and envied by countless women. But just as I was about to choose one of them as my lifelong partner, they both knelt at my coming-of-age ceremony and asked to marry my handmaiden instead. They even ripped out my protective scale in front of everyone and used it to weave a shimmering, rainbow-colored gown, all to make her smile. Without my protection, I could no longer endure the harsh waters of the North Sea. I collapsed to the ground, bleeding profusely, while they anxiously pulled her into their arms and scolded me for faking blood to scare her. I finally gave up on them. The day I restored my true form, I sent my father a message: “I’m willing to marry into the Dragon Clan as the Crown Prince’s bride.”
