My Husband of Many Years Told Me to Get Out

At twenty, I married Chen Size without a second thought. When I gave birth to Chen Yishen, I had only just graduated from college. I gave up my career and became a full-time housewife. A woman’s sense of insecurity kept me constantly focused on maintaining my figure and beauty. Then I found pink sticky notes in the pockets of my husband and son’s clothes, all written in the same handwriting. After following them, I discovered that my husband was cheating with another woman, and my own son was as close to her as if she were his mother. I had always been proud, but in that moment I could hardly hold my head up. That night, I handed Chen Size the divorce papers. Frowning with displeasure, he asked, “Why are you so determined to get a divorce?” “I just feel like competing with a woman like that would be beneath me.”
