It's the Modern Age, and You're Still into the Occult?

Su Xiqian considers herself lucky. Though her birth parents abandoned her, she had her grandmother to raise her, along with her master and martial uncle, who cared for her at the Taoist temple. Perhaps she was simply born tough: ever since she was little, she could see things ordinary people couldn't. People call this Yin-Yang Eyes. She has also seen messengers from the underworld and befriended the Door Gods. Her understanding of the occult arts is so thorough and flexible that it seems to hint at her extraordinary constitution. As she grows up, her encounters with the underworld's messengers become more frequent, and demons begin appearing around her. The mystery of her origins is gradually unraveled. But could that childhood friend from the Qingwei Sect please stop clinging to her all the time? This book will include events from the period of resistance against the Japanese, which run throughout the story. The early chapters briefly cover the events the heroine encounters from infancy through childhood, elementary school, and middle school. The main focus is on her high school and college years. #OccultArts #DailyLife #Campus #Lighthearted *In this story, Taoist temples have senior and junior female disciples. Otherwise, everyone would be referred to with male titles, which sounds very awkward.
