After My Mom Plagiarized an Intangible Cultural Heritage Qipao, I Put Her on the Award Stage

I set fire to the one-of-a-kind cheongsam I'd painstakingly made. My mom, who was also an inheritor of an intangible cultural heritage, panicked and looked ready to throw herself into the flames to save it. “Xia Xia, you've poured months of hard work into this. How can you bear to do this?” “Do you know how many celebrities are waiting to wear one of your cheongsams on the runway?” But Mom, in my previous life, you held up a cheongsam identical to mine on camera and claimed I'd copied you. Netizens called me a scheming woman who would even steal from her own mother, and said I'd disgraced the cheongsam. I clarified everything during a livestream and showed my design process, but people still accused me of faking it. The prolonged online abuse drove me to a mental breakdown, and I eventually ended my life in a raging fire. But this time, I didn't break down and withdraw from the competition. I let her plagiarize my work, because I had a special gift in store for her.
