Face-Slapping the Underworld Impostor Who Stole My Meng Po Soup

I am Meng Po, keeper of the underworld. Every hundred years, I must reincarnate. But when I finally returned to the Nine Netherworlds after enduring countless hardships in the mortal realm, I discovered that another ghost was claiming to be Meng Po reincarnated. She presented a bowl of Meng Po soup almost identical to mine, then accused me of stealing it. My colleagues all berated me for being an impostor and a fraud! No matter how hard I tried to explain and prove my innocence, the abuse only got worse. The ghost then twisted the truth, accusing me of wreaking havoc in the underworld. I became a despicable thief, hated by every soul. They tore out my sinews and bones, then shoved me into the eerie River of Forgetfulness, where my soul was annihilated. Even in my final moments, I couldn’t understand why this had happened. Why had someone else gotten to my painstakingly brewed Meng Po soup first? When I opened my eyes again, I was back on the day before I was to present the soup.
