After Retiring, I Found Wedding Photos of My Spouse and Their First Love

Jiang Yichen and I got married back in our hometown. A few tables at a banquet were all it took to make it official. We raised children and lived most of our lives, but our home didn’t even have one decent photograph. I said to Jiang Yichen, “Wedding photos are all the rage these days. Why don’t we take some too?” He didn’t even look up from his book, his glasses perched on his nose. “We’ve been married forever. Why would we take those? It’d be embarrassing!” But the next day, I found a wedding photo tucked inside one of the books he treasured.
