The Movie Star and I Fell in Love While Competing in Acting, and the Whole Internet Ships Us

When top-tier star actor Sheng Yu was grabbed and hugged by a hugely popular young actress, Shu Yi immediately dug into the watermelon she had just bought. Mmm, delicious! But in the blink of an eye, the actor showed up at her door and asked her to be his contract girlfriend to get him through a scandal. Shu Yi sensed a kindred compatibility between them and readily agreed. Before they went public, she posted coy, lovey-dovey updates on her private account every day and shared them with him. After they went public, she sent him sweet nothings every day, occasionally posting screenshots of his clueless, overly masculine remarks on her main account. She pretended to admire him, and he pretended to fall for her. In this battle of acting skills, it was hard to say who started taking it seriously first... Later, netizens began to notice something was off. Netizen A: I used to think Sister Shu was truly in love with my guy, but now it looks more like she loves everyone! Netizen B: Look on the bright side, the only non-work posts on her private account are all about showing off their relationship. Netizen C: We already told you these two are fake! Wake up! It’s all a publicity stunt! The evidence they released looked so real that the shippers’ hearts broke, and they flooded the internet with tears. Then, a few hours later, the actor posted a new update: [Sheng Yu: We’ll keep acting out this story for the rest of our lives.] The photo showed a bright red marriage certificate and their hands clasped together, rings on their fingers.
