Reborn in The Return of the Condor Heroes: No Regrets for the Dragon-Subduing Palm

The first draft actually has more than 50,000 words, and will be released later. But there are many problems with this draft, and the editor probably didn't take notice of it. So I am rewriting it now, and I have completed the first three chapters of 11,000 words. Three thousand words of outline character analysis and plot construction have been completed, and will be edited later. The idea of Xiao Feng's rebirth as Guo Jing is still there, so stay tuned. Based on reader feedback during this period and discussions with Brother Hecheng Fengyue, there are two main problems with the first draft. First, the plot is not much different from the original work, giving readers a sense of expectation, and the plot is not well controlled. The second is that the original characters are not fully explored. The Legend of the Condor Heroes is an early work by Jin Yong, with a grand theme and superb narrative techniques. Although it is not fresh to read due to its age, the core of the story is still attractive today. In the desert, Genghis Khan bent his bow and shot vultures, competing for deer all over the world. In the Central Plains, Wujue Huashan discusses swordsmanship, some are happy with their grudges, or some are obsessed with seeking salvation. A great chivalrous person serves the country and the people. Sad and lonely, I ask the boundless earth, who is responsible for the ups and downs? Coincidentally, both Guo Jing and Xiao Feng in the TVB version are the same actor. Maybe that gave me a little inspiration. Of course, the CCTV versions of The Condor and The Legend of the Dragon are also good at Chunlan Qiuju. There are a thousand Hamlets in the hearts of a thousand readers. In the Eight Parts of Demi-Gods and Dragons, all living beings suffer, and Xiao Feng is a concentrated expression of such a theme. The Legend of the Condor Heroes has grand themes, including rivers and lakes, temple turmoil, and dynasty struggles for hegemony. If The Legend of the Condor Heroes is about gods standing in the clouds and looking down on all living beings on the earth, then The Legend of the Condor Heroes is about angels coming to earth to experience the sufferings of all living beings. I once simply wanted to write a story similar to Invincible Flow. But later on, as I read more books and thought more in the past six months, I began to feel more and more shallow about my past. I always say that three thousand years is too short. In just one afternoon, a pot of crude tea can be used to rummage through everything. A quarter of an hour ago, I saw him sweeping the world and unifying all the wastelands. The next moment, I saw him defeated and surrounded by enemies. Three thousand people love each other, but in the end they are no more than a handful of loess at the foot of Mawei slope. From a bowl at the beginning to a rope at the end, it may only be one afternoon. I always say that thirty years is too long. I grow from a young man to a middle-aged man, and my black hair turns to white hair. Birth, old age, illness and death, in a blink of an eye, one can look back a hundred years ago. Or say: My hometown is where my heart is at ease. Dream of Red Mansions says: I come and go naked without any worries, but I think a foreign country is my hometown. Perhaps a person's life is constantly searching for the home in his heart. King Oedipus in Greek mythology finally walked into the cracked Grand Canyon accompanied by his daughter. Xiao Feng finally committed suicide with an arrow, and Ah Zi jumped off the cliff with him in his arms. Under the cliff was the skeleton of his biological mother, whom Xiao Feng had never met. I think the author may want to tell us that everyone will eventually return to the hometown in his heart. Martial arts fans, especially Condor Shooting fans, are always introduced by various authors using Tianlong martial arts to belittle the martial arts of Condor Shooting. This has become a routine practice. I think that maybe within the historical background and story framework of The Condor Heroes, we can introduce the theme of Tian Long Ba Bu and re-deconstruct and reshape the original characters. For example, Wanyan Honglie was obsessed with two things in his life: Bao Xiruo, who never really loved him, and the throne of the Kingdom of Jin (although the original work did not perform well on this point, and just brushed it off). Doesn't he look like Murong Fu? Yang Kang, I always thought that he was a shameless villain who was greedy for wealth and betrayed his friends for glory. However, he was poisoned by snake venom. What he said to Wanyan Honglie before his death reflected his true inner thoughts. The characters in the author's early works are inevitably stereotyped. If it is re-deconstructed in the context of the era of the Condor Shooting based on the ideas of Demi-Gods and Dragons, what kind of flavor will it have. This is my next creative idea for Xiao Feng's soul passing through Guo Jing. If it can be done, I think it will be a masterpiece in the martial arts fandom. Let's see what happens next.

I want to see Hongmao reincarnated into the golden, ancient, warm and yellow martial arts world

Although I have been following the plot of the original work, I feel that it is pretty good. In addition, there is a bug in the timeline. In the original work, Guo Jing had just apprenticed with the Bronze Corpse and the Iron Corpse. Now it has been many years later. I wonder if it will be rounded out in the future.

To be honest, the writing is good, but I am afraid of two problems. One is that it is a complete copy of the Condor, and the other is that the two characters Xiao and Guo cannot be well integrated and embodied. If you abandon either one, you will offend a large number of readers. If this problem is solved, according to the author's writing skills, it is basically a masterpiece.

Is it cut? Let me know as soon as possible.
