At My Proposal, I Went from the Protagonist to a Spectator

I loved her for seven years. On our anniversary, I carefully set up a proposal, planning to surprise Lin Xu. But when I arrived, I heard her say, “Yes.” The man proposing to her wasn’t me. She had reunited with her childhood sweetheart, the one who abandoned her when she was at her lowest. I became a spectator right there on the spot. As I prepared to move away, I saw a video she had filmed with that man a month earlier. Since that was how things stood, I decided to leave with dignity. But after I chose to let go, she fell to her knees before me, begging for forgiveness like a madwoman.
