After I Dumped My Sanctimonious Daughter, I Couldn’t Be Happier

On Mid-Autumn Festival, my daughter invited a homeless man over for dinner. I spent three hours in the kitchen and made him eight dishes. Partway through, my daughter went back to the hospital to work overtime. The homeless man took a liking to me and seized the chance to assault me. Afterward, I called the police, but my daughter said, “Mom, you’re so old. What’s there to make a fuss about? Couldn’t you just think of it as doing a good deed?” She withdrew my complaint for me, claiming I was mentally unwell and delusional. The incident hit me hard. I developed a mental illness and eventually fell into the sea by accident. When I opened my eyes again, I was back on Mid-Autumn Festival.
