My Best Friend and I Both Traveled to Ancient Times: You Marry the Yandere, and I'll Leave Him Too

What would happen if you and your best friend transmigrated to ancient times? I transmigrated to ancient times and became an unfavored consort. I was trying to find out whether any other unlucky souls around me had transmigrated too. Then I tried the secret password: “Who are you?” The other person replied, “I fine, thank Q.” I never expected it to be my best friend, Bai Zhi. We hugged and cried, like two people from the same hometown meeting in a strange place. We even ended up marrying a pair of brothers. I married the emperor, the older brother, as a wicked supporting character, while my best friend became a substitute bride to the younger brother, the Imperial Preceptor. Neither of us could win the love of our husbands. We decided to win over the brothers first, then make off with a fortune and run away. One of us would play the sweet, innocent type, and the other would act like a cool older sister. But I kept failing and trying again, while everything went smoothly for my best friend. At last, after I finally succeeded in winning over the emperor, I took all his money and headed for the meeting point where my best friend and I planned to escape. But she was nowhere to be seen. Then a familiar voice came from behind me: “Consort, what am I supposed to do with you?” I understood at once. My best friend must have failed to escape too! After the emperor caught me and brought me back, I found my best friend there as well, along with the Imperial Preceptor standing beside her. The Imperial Preceptor said, “Brother, it’s all your fault for making my sister-in-law angry. Didn’t you know you’d drag me into this too?” After that, the emperor began to dote on me, and the Imperial Preceptor treated my best friend with loving devotion. They were both completely different from before. We were utterly baffled. My best friend and I looked at each other and exclaimed, “Wait! Didn’t they used to not love us? They’re clearly head over heels for us!”
