After Giving Birth to a Dragon Baby, I Asked for a Divorce

I was the only mermaid born with the innate ability to conceive, and the Dragon Lord personally arranged my marriage to the Dragon Clan's Crown Prince. After we wed, I gave birth to a dragonling and raised him with care. Yet he saw me as his enemy and hated me to the bone. “How could a lowly mermaid like you ever deserve to be my mother?” Only then did I realize that the husband and son I cherished so dearly loved someone else, not me. They let her devour my inner core and take my place as queen, then imprisoned me in the Abyss of Eternal Night. With all hope gone, I leapt into a pit of snakes, leaving no trace of my remains. In a daze, I seemed to hear a desperate, anguished cry. When I opened my eyes again, I was back on the day I gave birth.
