I Only Transferred the House to Him, Was Divorce Really Necessary?

Five years into our marriage, my wife's childhood sweetheart posted a photo of a property deed on his social media, with the caption: “Thanks to my CEO sister for transferring the house to me.” I stared in shock at the address on the deed. It was our home. I commented with a single “?” My wife, Xu Yan, immediately called to berate me. “He’s a single father, and he has it so hard. I only transferred the house to make it easier for his daughter to go to school later. It won’t affect where we live.” “How can you be so heartless? Don’t you have any compassion?” I heard her childhood sweetheart complain sadly in the background. Half an hour later, he posted again and tagged me. This time, he showed off a Mercedes worth a million yuan. “Paid in full. Like they say, a woman’s love is wherever she spends her money.” I knew my wife had bought it to soothe his hurt feelings. But this time, I decided to divorce her.
