The Noble Consort Locked Me in a Dog Cage and Paraded Me Through the Streets. My Father Went on a Killing Spree

I am the most beloved little princess of the emperor. Father loves me more than life itself. Since I was sickly as a child, he sent me to recuperate at a Buddhist temple. When I turned fifteen, Father held a grand coming-of-age ceremony for me and issued an extraordinary pardon, handing out porridge and grain to earn blessings on my behalf. But the current imperial consort mistook me for a seductress trying to lure the emperor. On the day of my coming-of-age ceremony, she stormed into my chambers with her people, slashed my face, broke my hands and feet, and locked me in a dog cage to be paraded through the streets. In the main hall, the consort grabbed me by the hair and addressed the emperor. “Your Majesty, this wretched servant publicly slandered the princess and besmirched her reputation.” “I beg Your Majesty to execute her entire clan as a warning to others!”
